S.A.F.E. Gala to be held February 17

For the seventh year, S.A.F.E. will be hosting our major fundraising event: the annual Gala. The Gala is an evening full of entertainment including dinner, live music, dancing, silent auction, and live auction. It's an opportunity to dress in your finest and enjoy some mountain magic elegance! The Gala will be held at Brasstown Valley Resort on February 17th and begins at 5:00 PM with a social hour and the opportunity to view auction items. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM followed by music and dancing as well as the live auction.

Tickets, which are $50 per person, are available at Appalachian Community Bank and the S.A.F.E. Thrift Store in Blairsville. In the Young Harris/Hiawassee area, you can purchase tickets at the S.A.F.E. Again Thrift Store. There will be a wide variety of auction items in both the live and silent auction … something for everyone! There will be pieces of art from framed prints to stained glass; there will be hand crafted afghans; there will be sports collectibles and dancing lessons; there will be interesting furniture items; and, of course, a year of weekly donuts from Grinds & Glazes.
