Free tax sites relocating

The free AARP Tax sites are relocating in both Hiawassee and Blairsville. Please tell your friends and neighbors.

The Hiawassee site is relocating to the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall next to the Fairgrounds up on the hill. The hours of operation have changed also. They will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Mondays starting on February 5.

The Blairsville site is relocating to the First Baptist Church of Blairsville in Building "H" which is on the end of the old strip mall away from the church. The hours of operation will be 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings starting on February 6.

We would like to thank both the McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee and the United Community Bank in Blairsville for their wonderful support; the free AARP Tax Program could not have grown like it has. We look forward to our association with our two new locations.
