Hallmark Movie based on Georgia author's novel The Valley of Light

Chris Klein and Gretchen Mol star in this drama based on a novel by Terry Kay about a World War II veteran who returns home at the end of the war to find his parents have died, his younger brother is in prison and the family farm has been sold.

Feeling lost in the world, Noah Locke (Klein) wanders the rural roads of western North Carolina in search of a place to belong…a place to call home. Before long he is guided by a mysterious stranger (Robert Prosky) to a small mountain community.

Noah meets and befriends Eleanor (Gretchen Mol), a young widow. Noah and Eleanor are two lonely souls who develop a strong attraction and bond to one another. But when tragedy strikes the community, Noah must decide if he truly belongs in the Valley of Light.
