Writers' Club author gets published

Congratulations goes to Carroll Williamson. He is the latest member of our club to get his book published. Carroll has been working on his book for four to five years and it is now ready. The title says it all: A Place in Time is stories of growing up here in Blairsville. His stories are a blend of humor, history and a little ESP thrown in.

We meet the second Wednesday of every month. The next meeting will be held on February 14 from 10 a.m. until noon at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Young Harris Highway.

We have no membership dues or elected officers. We meet to share and critique each other's writings. We are here to offer support, inspiration, motivation and encouragement to each other.
