Mountain Presbyterian

Adult education- spiritual journey
Our Faith Journey is a series of adult education courses designed to encourage spiritual growth and development in our personal journey as well as in our journey as a congregation.
The Adult education class meets each Sunday in the Parish Hall from 9 to 10 AM. The class is open to all.

Lunch on the Hill
You are invited to "Lunch on the Hill," every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.The meal is home cooked and always delicious. Menu changes weekly; some of our choices are: Zion's Slow Smoked BBQ, Homemade Soups and Chili, Prime Meatloaf with Real Mashed Potatoes, Spaghetti with Special Sauce, etc. A favorite hit, Tom's Famous Chicken 'n Dumplings, is served the last Wednesday of each month. Salad selection, homemade dessert and drink rounds out the meal. All proceeds go towards missions of the church. Donation $4. Zion UMC is the "little country church with a kudzu kind of love that just grows and grows"!
'Journey to Greater Faith'
Dr. Nancy W. Kelly, the Living Lady, and regular columnist for this newspaper, will be teaching "Journey to Greater Faith," each Wednesday evening beginning in January. The nine-week class will be held in the Fellowship Hall of McConnell Baptist Church in Hiawassee at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Pre-registration is not required.
