Jason Leon Claude Cothren

Mr. Jason Leon Claude Cothren, 28, of Dana Drive, Gainesville, Ga., and also of Towns and Union counties, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007 in Towns County.

Mr. Cothren was born Jan. 22, 1978 in Towns County, the son of Claude Arnold Cothren and Polly J. Berrong Cothren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cord and Hazel Cothren and Nevertt Berrong. Mr. Cothren was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Cothren is his fiancée, Kim Holloway of Blairsville; parents, Polly Cothren of Gainesville, and Claude Cothren of Young Harris; grandmother, Robbie Berrong of Blairsville; brothers and sister-inlaw, Josh Cothren, Scotty and

Angie Stokes, all of

Gainesville; sisters, Sheila

Fox and Susan Tran, both

of Gainesville; several aunts, uncles, cousins,

nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services

were held Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at 5 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tommy Jones officiating.
