Day Retreat, Inc. enhances lives

Day Retreat Inc. Is a new provider created to serve people with a Mental Retardation or Developmental Disability diagnosis. It was developed to offer day services that will enhance the lives of each individual, based upon their choices and needs.

Day Retreat Inc. will assist clients in developing their own daily schedule, using a systematic instruction technique, as well as a Montessori hands on learning approach. Each client will gain the knowledge and the tools to make a difference in their own daily lives. We will offer trainings in the area of Independent Living Skills, Social skills, some basic cooking skills, and much more based upon the choices of the client.

Day Retreat, Inc. has been approved by DHR, Division of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities to provide Day Services, respite services and day habilitation services. We intend to provide services above and beyond the requirements set by the State. We are flexible and provide services that are based solely on the clients choices and needs.

We believe in the people we serve and feel quite confident that each person can make a difference in their own life, given the opportunity to do so.
