Estelle Stringer Todd

Mrs. Estelle Stringer Todd, 87, of Blairsville, Ga., died Thursday, December 21, 2006 in Union County Nursing Home, in Blairsville.

Mrs. Todd was born Saturday, January 25, 1919, in Smith County, Mississippi to the late Hines Stringer and Cynthia Atwood Stringer. She had resided in Ellisville, Mississippi before moving to Blairsville three years ago. She was a member of West Ellisville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, Aaron Ervin Todd, and two brothers, Dee and Hurston Stringer.

Survivors include her daughter, Sara Valentine of Blairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Rosiland Todd of Blairsville; brother, Franklin Stringer of Ellisville; sister, Evelyn Cowan of Aberdeen, Miss.; grandson, Michael Valentine of Orlando, Fla.; granddaughters, Michele McBroom of Lawrenceville, Ga., Angela Saxon of Seneca, S.C., and Holly Cantrell of Jackson, Ga.;

eight great grandchildren, several nieces and

nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held

Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 10 a.m.

from the Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville

with Rev. David Allen officiating. Music

was provided by Keith McBroom.

Interment was in Ellisville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Pat Butler, Heath Butler, Larry Brewer, Ricky Simmons, Thomas Lee Todd and Stanley Todd.
