Margaret Hensley Morgan

Mrs. Margaret Hensley Morgan, 85, of Blairsville, Ga., died Saturday, December 16, 2006 in NorthEast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.

Mrs. Morgan was born Saturday, April 16, 1921 in Jackson County, N.C., to the late Jule Hensley and the late Lury Sutton Hensley. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Morgan; brothers, Luther and Marcus Hensley; and a niece, Martha Raper.

Survivors include brother, Corbit Hensley of Gastonia, N.C.; sister-in-law, Mary (Marcus) Hensley of Blairsville; nieces and nephews, Joy and Willie Lackey of Gastonia, Brenda and Thom Gay of Blairsville, Elizabeth and Keith Dyer of Morganton, Ga., Jerry and Dot Hensley of Gastonia, Waymon and Shanna Morgan of Blairsville, Hoyt (Martha) Raper of Blairsville; great nieces and nephews, Julie Raper, Michelle Hensley Crunkleton and family, Dawn Hensley, Emma Morgan and Kaitlyn Carter, Michael and Stacy Raper, Roy and Sheena Johnson, Jason Ownsby, Chris Hensley; great great niece and nephews, Kaley Raper and Michael and Zackery Raper; many other family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday,

December 19, 2006 at 2 p.m. from the

Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with

the Rev. R.L. Martin and Rev. Ray Potts officiating.

Music was provided by Joe and Julie Gray. Interment followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Davenport, Jimmy Davis, Michael Brey, Roy Phillips, Thom Gay and Max Cochran.
