Marilyn Alice Bumpus

Mrs. Marilyn Alice Bumpus, 83, of Hamilton Rd., Blairsville, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Bumpus was born Nov. 4, 1923 in Brockton, Mass., the daughter of the late Warren Nelson Messer and the late Rose Drouin. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Wooley. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy of WWII.

Survivng Mrs. Bumpus is her loving husband, George Bumpus Sr. of Blairsville; son and daughter-in-law, George Jr. and Yvonne Bumpus of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Paul Truono of Bonita Springs, Fla.; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; many

other relatives and friends also survive.
