Norman R. Anderson
Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 21, 1923 in Chicogo, Ill., the son of the late Otto Anderson and the late Signe Hanson Anderson. He retired from the Rancel Tool and Die Company after over 20 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp of WWII. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lillian Anderson in 1997; and by a son, Norman R. Anderson Jr. in 1968. Mr. Anderson was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Surviving Mr. Anderson is his loving wife of eight years, Kathryn Wyss Anderson of Young Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Edward Kasen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; stepchildren, Linda Massee of Greenville, S.C., David Massee of Memphis, Tenn., Karen Merrill of Shreveport, La., Janet Bueltel of Naples, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Robert Sorenson of Chicago; grandchildren, Jon Kasen, Cindi Bentley and Tim Kasen; five great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends also survive. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 from the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. George Cline officiating. Special music will be presented by Joann Bond, Tammy Blasingame, Ted and Joy Noelle, Wendall and Lauretta Carr. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church Family Life Center in Mr. Anderson’s memory. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
