United Community Bank Sponsors CASA Angel

Each year, CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, asks businesses, organizations and individuals to help make Christmas a little more special for each child in foster care in Towns and Union Counties.

Each foster child in the program has a "Christmas Angel" telling a little about the child, their clothing sizes and their special Christmas Wish List. This year, United Community

Bank – Blairsville, once again adopted a “Christmas Angel” and shared the spirit of Christmas with this area child.

“The need is so great during the holiday season, it seems almost impossible to help all the children in need,” Dorton said. “The only way to approach this need is to help one child at time. If everyone will do this, we can make huge progress in helping the children of our community.”
