United Community Bank supports Union County Sherriff’s Office ‘Give-A-Gift’ Program

For seven years, United Community Bank – Blairsville has supported the Union County Sherriff’s Office “Give-A-Gift” program through the donation of gifts and money. This year was no exception.

Anna Gladdin, right, Marketing Assistant at United Community Bank, is shown here presenting gifts and a check to Mary Fortenberry of the Union County Sheriff's office.

The "Give a Gift" program has been a wonderful experience for all involved,” Marketing Assistant Sharon Arnold said.

“The bank employees adopt a child, collect money within their individual departments and then designate a person to go shopping for all of the items on the child's wish list. It felt good to go to the Sheriff's office and see how many presents that other people have dropped off. It truly is the ‘Season of Giving’.”

For more information on how your organization or company can participate in the “Give- A-Gift” program next year, contact Mary Fortenberry at the Union County Sherriff’s Office, 706- 439-6066.
