UCB celebrates Joe Fair’s 26-year career
Sr. Vice President – Brackett’s Way

After 26 distinguished years of service at United Community Bank, Joe Fair has elected to hang up his banking visor and retire on January 2. Joe currently serves as a Senior Vice President at United’s Brackett’s Way location.

Fair began his career with United Community Bank as an Assistant Vice President – Lender in August of 1980. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1996. Joe graduated from the

Savings & Loan Institute of Banking School in 1984 and also attended college at Young Harris. Joe and Evelyn, his wife of 39 years, reside in Blairsville where they have lived since 1980. They have two grown children, Kenny and Amanda, and two grandchildren Ashley & Allison.

A reception was held on December 20 to celebrate Joe’s career and to give him a proper send-off into the next phase of his life.
