Marian Janette Souther
Mrs. Marian Janette Souther, 72, of Blairsville, Ga., died Friday, December 15, 2006 at Stonehenge Assisted Living Center in Blairsville.
Mrs. Souther was born Monday, May 21, 1934 in Greenville County, S.C., to the late Garnett and Kathleen Kay Ballew. She was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Washington, D.C. during the Korean War. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Souther.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 18, 2006 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Young and Rev. Wade Plott officiating. Music was provided by the New Liberty Choir, Mary Ann Wright and Marcia Barrett. Interment followed in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Souther, Chad Farrell, Rick Gray,

Shawn Barrett, Drace
Farrell and Terry Barrett.
