Flora Bishop

Mrs. Flora (better known as Ann) Bishop, 77, of Holbrook Place, Blairsville, Ga., died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs.Bishop was born Sept. 19, 1929 in West Palm Beach, Fla., the daughter of the late Richard Sticklen and the late Eva Shields Sticklen. She and her husband Richard had made their home in Blairsville for the past 22 years, moving here from West Palm Beach. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Matron. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the House of Prayer Church.

Surviving Mrs. Bishop is her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Bishop of Blairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Mary Bishop of West Palm Beach; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole and Kyle Bishop; many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec.

21, 2006 at 1 p.m. from

the funeral home chapel

with the Rev.J erry Helton

and Rev. Bill Honaker officiating. Special music will be presented by the

House of Prayer church Choir. Pallbearers will be Gollie Easter, Ed Turner, Carl Bonham, Bob Woodstock, Nelson Thomas and Wade Smith. Interment will follow in the House of Prayer Church cemetery.
