Christmas at the College
By JARED PUTNAM

Dorothy Hansen helped read Christmas stories to children.
North Georgia Technical College held it’s annual Christmas at the College celebration last Friday, as local businesses and individuals in the community displayed their unique decorative ideas through specially themed Christmas trees.

One particular tree displayed crosses with the names of each of the Georgia soldiers killed in Iraq. Veteran Chuck Honaker stood beside the tree in uniform. The tree was courtesy of the Union County Republican party.

Entertainment was an important part of the night as a number of musical talents, including the House of Prayer Choir, the High Country Harmonizers, and many others, treated the crowd to Christmas music.

There were also various activities for children, as kids had the opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa or listen to the reading of a Christmas story.
