The donation ceremony took place Thursday, November 30, 2006, at the Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris. "Preservation of our nation’s history is a major focus of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, "said Mrs. Wolfersteig, Regent of the Old Unicoi Trail Chapter. "Many of our Daughters come to this Library to research their own family history. As they do that they add to their knowledge of our local, state and national history. We are so happy to have this library here, and we encourage the public to come and browse through the books available for research. We are pleased that our member, Dorothy Rogers, has added this set of books which document some very early marriages in Virginia’s history."
