Two overwhelming victories kicked off the 2006-2007 season for the junior varsity boys, a team that seems to have multiple scoring options on the floor at any given time.

Union County opened the the Murphy Bulldogs before following that victory with a 67-31 torching of Towns County.

The team shot over 50 percent from the field in each game, and got off to a 20-0 start against Murphy. "Four or five

ten] points per game. That's good," said Coach Carson Turlington. "I'm pleased with what they are doing."

In the game against Murphy, Brad Beise led the team with 11 points, followed by Kolt Owenby and Josh Jake Levens and Josh Colwell with 8 points each.

In the matchup with Towns County, Beise again led the team with 15 points, followed by Owenby with 13. Colwell, Walker, and Brady McCarter had 8 points each.
