Travelers thank their supporters

The Union County Travelers went to Lavonia, Ga. to play in the USSSA Qualifier, playing against the Elbert Thunder and the Georgia Crush (the host team). The Travelers took the first game against the Thunder 7-1 and turned around a beat the Crush 3-0. They were in 1st place going into single elimination play on Sunday.

The Thunder took out the more powerful Crush by 4 runs in the first game. The Panthers took the championship game 9-1. They were lead by Brady McCarter going three for three at the plate with 2 RBIs, followed by Chaiz George, Coleman Sullivan and Cody Harkins with two hits each, Korey Duckworth brought in two runs with his hit. Chaiz George had 8 strikeouts in the victory.
