Leola Dover

Mrs. Leola Dover, 84, of Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Lainer Park North E. Ga. Medical Center.

Mrs. Dover was born Monday, September 11, 1922 in Union Co., Ga., to the late Thomas and Bertha Johnson Pierce. She was a member of Old Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Dover was preceded in death by her husband, William Dan Dover.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nedra and William Cheek of Blairsville; son, Niles Dover of Blairsville; sister, Elizabeth Monkus of McDonough, Ga.; granddaughters, Betty Rogers and Sandra Watson; four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home

with the Rev. Harley Hunter, Rev. Stacy Dyer officiating. Music was

provided by Old Liberty

Baptist Church Choir.

Interment was in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Troy Dyer, Perry Dyer, Danny Stephens, Scott Mckechnie, William Watson, Steve Rhoten.
