Coming back to the four seasons where beauty of the majestic mountains far out weighs the sounds of hurricanes and the people are friendly. I made my home in Murphy and found my little nitch in Blairsville, on the square where I opened my boutique.
Looking back, my mother always made my clothes. She was an excellent seamstress. I remember the days of dancing schools where she made all the costumes for the school. As, a child I always remembered the rows and rows of costumes and tu-tu's hanging up in different sizes bright colors and glitter. I couldn't wait for the scraps to fall to the floor as she cut the fabrics so I could gather them up to make my dolls fancy clothes.
In Junior High I was voted the best dressed. I enrolled in sewing classes and the rest came easy. I later enrolled in clothes design and interior design in college. I designed my wedding gown and my seven bridesmaids and flower girl. Mom made all of them. Now at 92 she still swings a mean needle. I taught adult education classes in Interior Design and opened my own business in '72 had my business for 17 years. My heart still in clothing, I changed my career to clothing and became manager of one of the large stores in Florida.

I carry quality merchandise both in jewelry and clothing. All my jewelry is made from nature. One of a kind Amber, is a golden gem known through the ages by many names such as Rav, Janter, Bernstein and Northern Gold. Baltic Amber is the fossilized resin or sap from extinct prehistoric coniferous pine trees which formed a huge forest 40-60 million years ago at the present location of the Baltic Sea. This lightest of organic gems sometimes have inclusions of entrapped flora, fauna and insects which provides a connection with our past. Stone age sun worshippers early and Greeks and Romans believed that wearing amber kept one young and healthy. Each piece of amber jewelry has a certificate issued by Vessel International to be 100% genuine. All pieces are hand carved in Poland.
