Samuel David Boring

Mr. Samuel David Boring, 86, of Blairsville, Ga., died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Union County Nursing Home.

Mr. Boring was born Monday, March 29, 1920 in Polk County, Tenn., to the late Jesse James Boring and the late Ella Mae Carver Boring. A member of Crofts Chapel Methodist Church, the Alhambra Shrine, Ducktown masonic and the Eastern Star. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joan & Lee Roy Satterfield of Turtletown; daughter and son-in-law, Judy & Jerry Walling of Tracy City, Tenn.; sisters, Edna Mae Ralston of Ellijay, Buna Lee Dale of Ellijay; seven grandchildren,

14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services

were held Thursday,

November 9, 2006 at 2

p.m. from the Crofts

Chapel Methodist Church with the Reverend Ernest German officiating.

Interment wil follow in Crofts Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Jerry Wallin, Lee Roy Satterfield, Dr. Eric Satterfield, Todd Satterfield, Chris Wallin and David Greer.

The Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
