Hound makeover by Humane Society Mountain Shelter

This is how Mindy looked when she arrived at the Shelter.
Drs. DeAnne Livingston and Brian Kinsey have given "Mindy" a clean bill of health now that she has been cared for at the HSMS. Mindy arrived at the shelter on September 15th and was extremely thin. In addition, Mindy, who is part Saluki Hound, had to be treated for worms and her weight gain needed to be gradual. Happy and

healthy she no longer is the scrawny, starving animal portrayed in pictures being circulated in the community. Mindy is available for adoption by calling the shelter at 706-781-3843. She is still timid and a bit afraid of men, but with the continuation of care that she has recieved at the Shelter will be the "BEST HOUND EVER!"
This is healthy Mindy now after only a few short weeks at the Shelter.
