Suches fire department receives grant

The Suches Fire Department has recently been notified by the Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. that a recently submitted grant application for search and rescue equipment has been approved for over $30,000. It seems only fitting that we thank them in some way and we have decided to hold a reception for them and some other folks when the check is formally presented.

We would be honored if you could join us in the celebration of this milestone in the life of our department and the Suches community.

The reception will be held in the meeting and community room of the Suches Fire station #5 on State Highway 60, across from the Woody Gap School in Friday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m.
