You can plant big trees-for home
By JOAN CROTHERS

It took a large crane to lift and put in place some of the larger trees on the Tilly property.
A family living on Cedar Cliff has had an amazing change to their land which used to be a pasture. Jim and Tracy Tittle wanted trees around their new house-big trees. So they hired Bob Dernehl and his crew and they now have big, beautiful trees, 27 of them.

Dernehl classifies himself as a contractor/builder and a "big tree planter." He said all the trees are eight to nine years old, roots are in burlap and wire.

"We take the burlap off the top, but the rest of the burlap and the wire rot off rather quickly," said Dernehl. "If they're planted properly and

watered good, they will do fine. We've planted hollies, cypress, Green Giant spruce, pear trees, sugar maples, deadora cypress (18'), and nuttal oaks."

Jim Tittle is an attorney who just passed his Georgia bar exam and will be opening an office on Big Sky Drive, same level as Daniel's Steak House.
Danny Harris is seen on a front end loader as a tall holly is planted.
New trees near house and on driveway will take away that bare pasture look.
The garage (l) is enhanced with evergreen cypress and the house (r) has the evergreen holly as seen from Cedar Cliff.
