The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association

The Blue Ridge Mountains arts announces the opening of their Annual Holiday Art Show and Sale. The Art Center (Old Courthouse on West Main) will be ready for Christmas shoppers and is decked out in its finest Christmas regalia. This year's theme, is Experience the Art of Christmas Shopping, tells the story clearly.

The Opening Reception is on Saturday evening, November 18th from5:00-7:00 and the public is invited. The building will be filled with original artwork and crafts from regional artists. A wide variety and styles of paintings, Christmas ornaments, carved wood, decotated gourds, fabric art, pottery, baskets, metal work, photography, dolls & bears, candles, mosaics glass and folk art will be for sale.

Many of the artist will be on hand for information. Refreshments will be served. Many of the downtown Blue Ridge shops will remain open for evening shoppers and strollers.

The Holiday Art Show and Sale will be open Monday- Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 11-3, through December 22. For the Light Up Blue Ridge, will be on November 25th, BRMAA Art Center will be open from 11:00-7:00 p.m.
