Melissa Andrzejewski is a 22-year-old in the distance learning program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautic University (ERAU), majoring in Professional Aeronautics. Melissa was a champion rock climber throughout high school, winning numerous competitions and served as the president of ERAU's Bouldering Crew in Prescott, Ariz.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Melissa was introduced to aviation and aerobatics by her flying grandmother in a Cessna 150 Aerobat - the same airplane she took to EAA AirVenture as a newly minted private pilot in 2002 after learning to fly with her grandfather, Leo Janssens .

Inspired by the program's outreach to young pilots, Melissa returned to Embry-Riddle with a determination to learn and compete in Aerobatics. In less than one year, Melissa went from first-time Aerobatic Contestant at the Sportsman Level to Third Place Overall in Intermediate at the 2004 U.S. National Championship. Melissa finally received delivery of her new

Zivco Edge 540. In addition to her own airshow act Melissa is flying in an action packed "Bi-Plane vs. Mono-Plane" meets " Battle of the Sexes" act with Rob Holland in his Ultimate Bi- Plane.

"Aerial Advantage" Ultimate Aerobatics Rob Holland has been flying since 18 and has accumulated greater than 5,500 hours in over 100 types of aircraft. He graduated Daniel Webster College in 1997 with a B.S. in Aviation Management and a B.S. in Aviation Flight Operations. He has flight instructed, towed banners, ferried aircraft throughout the country, flown cooperate in a Pilatus PC-12 and flown for the commuters in a Jetstream 31 for USAir Express. We welcome Rob to this year's Airshow.

Swift Magic Aerobatic Team

The Magic Team originated in 1991 when Lowell Sterchi- Magic One (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Michael Kennedy- Magic Three (Lebanon, Tenn.) combined their years of airshow experience to create an all-new formation aerobatic act.

They chose the fabulous Globe Swift for their aircraft and are the only team in the world performing in this super bird. The Swift is an All-American classic designed by the same engineers that produced famous WWII fighters such as the P-40 Warhawk. This 50-year-old aircraft has the smooth flowing aerobatic characteristics that with their big engines and smoke systems, provides an unforgettable sight and a majestic sound.

Memories of the old "barn storming" day's have also been brought back with an original aerial melodrama. Founded on a mutual love of flying, the Swift Magic Aerobatic Team is committed to sharing this love with their audiences.

When they perform - there is definitely "Magic" in the air. Come out on Saturday for a fun-filled and thrilling day at the Andrews-Murphy Airport in Cherokee Co., N.C.
