New Trinity Baroque concert date nears
By KATHI OSBORNE

New Trinity Baroque, an ensemble specializing in music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, will perform October 22 at John C. Campbell Folk School in a concert presented by Brasstown Concert Association.

Playing on period instruments, the ensemble of four musicians will perform works of the Baroque era. Predrag Gosta, Artistic Director, said, "We strive to present inspiring and exciting concert performances in the hope of instilling in people a true understanding and love for music of the earlier repertoire. We hope to see yet another Renaissance in the arts."

The concert will be held Sunday, October 22, at 3 p.m. in the Keith House of John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown. No reservations are required, and seating is by general admission. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $6 for students. Half-season tickets are also available. For more information call 828-389-0033.

The concert is supported by George Heilner, and the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of North Carolina and the National Endowment for the Arts.
