Kappa Alpha hosts state convention

The Blairsville Kappa Alpha chapter of the international women's organization Beta Sigma Phi hosted the 2006 Georgia State Convention in Helen, GA, in May of 2006. Because of the support and participation of our sisters from around the state, we had a great turn-out for the convention and were able to come in well under our projected budget. Members of Kappa Alpha chapter voted to distribute the excess funds to several area charities and non-profit organizations.
