Back-to-school picnic for teachers

United Community Bank hosted their annual back-to-school picnic for the schoolteachers in all of Union County. Almost 500 teachers attended the event at the Middle School cafeteria, and seemed to love it. Williamson Brothers catered the meal. The teachers ate, visited with each other and the bank staff, and had a great time. As each teacher left, they received complimentary

planners, stress pencils, and other items for their desks. In addition, the Marketing Department provided an array of crayons, pencils, scissors, highlighters, and other school supplies- plus that survival essential, plenty of chocolate!

The teachers expressed great appreciation for the support they received from United.
