Mr. Bowman Cecil Brewer 80, of Blairsville, Ga., died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, Ga. Mr. Brewer was born Monday, August 9, 1926 in Union County, Ga., to the late Carl Brewer and Maebelle Deyton Brewer. He was a member and deacon of Liberty Baptist Church, a member of Alleghany Lodge #114 F&AM and a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He was service manager for Ware Chevrolet for 32 years, packing foreman for Georgia Boot for five years and service manager for Dalton Utilities in Dalton, Ga. He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Seabolt. Survivors include his loving wife, Annie Brewer of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Roger McAlpin of Blairsville; brother, Richard Brewer of Smyrna, Ga.; sisters, Debrah

Tyson Lovett; stepgrandson, Drew McAlpin and step-granddaughter, Katie Williams.

Funeral services were held Friday,

September 15, 2006 at

p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Chatham, Rev. Guy Bradley and Rev. Luther

Thomas officiating. Music was provided by Skip Payne, Michell Rowe and Leslie Hughes. Interment followed in Union Memory Gardens with military honors conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers were Nelson Thomas, Johnny Duckworth, Jimmy Golden, Scott Hartness, Ray Golden, Dale Seabolt and Greg Lashley.
