Auditions this weekend for Licklog Players' next production

Saturday, September 23, from 10 am - 2 pm will be the beginning of auditions for Licklog Players production of Run for Your Wife. It's the amusing story of a Cab driver who tries to juggle work and two wives! The laughter begins early on as we witness the antics involved in this cabbie trying to balance his two lives. Monday, September 25, there will be additional audition time from 7 pm - 10 pm. All auditions are held at the Peacock Playhouse in Hayesville. Our temporary Murphy location will be making its way back to the Playhouse hopefully by the beginning of October and we can get back to business as usual.

As many of you may recall, there was a decision made some six months ago to relocate the office to another location. This decision was made due to the fact that the theater was supposedly going to be sold, and in order for the Players to protect the sensitive materials of their patrons and members, it was thought best to move them to a more secure location until the issue of any pending sale was either validated or dismissed. The Players were aware that this move may have caused a lot of disturbances among the community, but was deemed necessary in order to protect vital information that our patrons may not have wanted to go into the hands of another group of people, such as names, phone numbers, addresses, and other sensitive information concerning banking and endowment information.

That " rumor" of a pending sale has been laid to rest. The Players are sorry for any inconvenience this move may have caused some of you, but they

had only your best interests in mind. The building is still owned by the Lidseen Foundation who over many, many years has generously allowed the Licklog Players to utilize the facility so that they can continue to bring entertainment into the community.
