Most of us share an innate drive for meaning, direction and purpose to our lives. This desire to have this level of understanding is as important as our psychological growth as eating is to our biological survival.

Although many of us don't recognize or acknowledge that we even have a purpose, believe our subconscious knows what we are here to do and constantly reaches out to us. It is these hidden forces behind our personalities that shape our careers and our relationships and influence the quality and direction of our lives. But until we recognize and live in accordance with our underlying purpose, we may feel like a puzzle with missing pieces. We work, rest, eat, sleep and have our share of pleasure and disappointments but the completeness to our life's purpose may continue to elude us.

To be in tune with our Spiritual purpose and have that braided with everything else we do will very much bring a heightened awareness to the average every day thing we do. And my awareness to my life's purpose will not be the same as yours and nor should we expect simple answers with immediate results. I think it may very well take our whole lives to figure out the life we were born to live! But the purposeful transformation from the mortal to the spiritual self is an amazing purpose...to know ourselves and then transcend beyond has limitless possibilities. Remember that self knowledge is not the end, it is only the beginning. And when we become that transparent to the light of awareness then we surely see the Spirit that shines through us all!
