7th Annual Blairsville Women's Spiritual Conference

We hope all you ladies have followed the articles in this paper about the exciting Women's Spiritual Conference and Luncheon sponsored by local Crusade Pastors we have planned for you. You are cordially invited to join us and experience "Women Around the World" 'Bringing Families Together' at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall here in Blairsville, on Saturday, September 30 from 9:30 am-1:00 pm.

Our guest speaker is Sandy Adams. Sandy has been leading Precept Bible Studies for 25 years and has been a trainer for Precept Ministries since 1987. Sandy and her husband Mike are members of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga., where they lead a Precept Inductive Bible Study. Sandy and Mike have two sons Gant and Corbin. Her youngest son is married, so Sandy is enjoying her first granddaughter, Jen. Sandy also enjoys many outdoor activities including camping and canoeing. Sandy has a desire and passion that people know the truth of the Bible for themselves; the truth about God; the truth about who we are; and how we are to live; the truth about the future. Sandy's goal in life is to know God as He truly is. To know Him is to love Him and to love Him is to obey Him. Loving obedience to God brings true fulfillment. Sandy requests bring your bible!

Dena's Chocolate Fountain will be back at this year's Women's Spiritual Conference.

Our guest musician is Linda Fitzgerald. Linda is from Dalton, Ga. She is married to Jack and they have two children and two grandchildren. She is a pre-school teacher at the First United Methodist Church in Dalton. When Linda was 16 years old she won the talented teen USA contest and

traveled Europe for two weeks. Since marring and having a family she now sings at churches, retreats and conferences, wherever the Lord leads her. Linda sang for us a few years ago when she accompanied her mother Zelda who spoke during the conferences.

And, just to be sure we have lighthearted period during our time together, we have a "Fun Fashion Show" on our agenda-the Acteen of Antioch and First Baptist Churches will have you laughing so hard you will have "tears" streaming down your face! You really don't want to miss this "fashion show"!!

Ladies, over 300 of us remember Dena's Chocolate Fountain from last year! And, she is coming back to serve that delightful chocolate and all the other goodies that are served with the chocolate-so I know you will not want to miss this great treat!

Ladies, please remember our theme this year is "Women Around the World" 'Bringing Families Together'-and again this year we will have churches sign up to decorate tables. Each table at the luncheon will be decorated by churches in our community to represent women in countries around the world- the possibilities are endless!
