Worth Witt Plott

Mr. Worth Witt Plott, 88, of Blairsville, Ga., died Monday, September 11, 2006 at Union County Nursing Home.

Mr. Plott was born Sunday, February 17, 1918 in Union County, Ga., to the late Smith Plott and Nora Smith Plott. He was a member of Youngstown Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Lennar Mason Plott.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Barbara Plott of Chatsworth, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-law, Vondell and Homer Powell of Blairsville, Frances Emerson of Blairsville, Joelain and Wayne Roberts of Blairsville, Glenda and Randall Dilbeck of Marietta, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Martha Plott of Blairsville; sister, Ruth Cantrell of Blairsville; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday,

p.m. from the Cochran

Funeral Home Chapel

with Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins

officiating. Interment followed

in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Franklin Brown, Robert Dilbeck, James Powell, Jeff Edwards, Cody Edwards and Donald Harris.
