AA-NA Meeting

Mountain Presbyterian

Sunday at 9:45 a.m., Christian Education; 11 a.m. Worship Service; followed by a time for coffee and conversation.

Coosa bakers and canners are at it again

Fall is just around the corner and the much awaited Coosa Craft/Bake Sale, Silent Auction, and BBQ lunch is planned for Saturday, October 7, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The entire congregation gets involved in this annual building fundraiser. The crafts sold are very unique and beautifully made-never enough for the high demand. The furniture available at the silent auction is top quality made by master craftsmen. The BBQ lunch, available starting at 10 a.m., costs $7.00 per plate for chopped pork, slaw, beans, roll, homemade dessert and beverage (eat-in or carry out.) Tickets available in advance by calling the church office at (706) 745-8893.

Mountain Synagogue services

Mountain Synagogue will hold Shabbat Evening Services on Friday, September 8th, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. in the Social Hall at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church on Roller Mill Road in Franklin, NC.

Dr. Judy Greene & Zvi Altman will conduct the services.

Seventh annual Blairsville Women's Spiritual Conference is planned for September 30 at the First Baptist Church of Blairsville from 9:30-1: p.m.

Fourth Annual Country Fare

Saturday, October 28, 2006. It's not too soon to plan a fun day at St Clare's Episcopal Church in Blairsville.

Among the many crafts, books, and baked goods you will also be able to order Christmas Greenery and purchase other Holiday items. All Saint's Yard Sale

Mark your calendars for Friday & Saturday, September 15 & 16, 2006, so you don't forget to come to All Saints Lutheran "Inside/Yard Sale" from 8:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m. Just think about all of the treasures you will find like kitchen appliances and china, linens for bed and bath, clothing, children's toys and games, books, tapes & CDs, exquisite jewelry and much more. There will be a silent auction of 10 special items. On Saturday only, plan to have a bowl of chili or a chili dog for lunch. We know you will like shopping in our large air-conditioned fellowship hall. Bring a friend or neighbor along with you.
