Zion UMC Celebrates 135th Birthday
Zion United Methodist Church will be celebrating 135 years of service to the communities of Union and Towns Counties this month. The church was started September 29, 1871. The celebration will be held Sunday September 24th with coffee and juice at 10:00am in Victory Hall. The Worship Service following will include a rededication of the Sanctuary. There will be a covered dish potluck lunch after the service followed by a special moment in the cemetery where we will close by remembering those who started the
church and the families
who are interned there.
Everyone is welcome to join us for this special day in the church's history.
