Overland Trails Heritage Log Homes to benefit Georgia Mountains Hospice

Overland Trails Heritage Log Homes of Ellijay, owned by Ed and Ellen Grant, have chosen to support Georgia Mountains Hospice this Holiday Season. The idea was born from Ellen Grant's heartfelt appreciation and respect for the work done by Georgia Mountains Hospice staff and volunteers. Ellen, along with Joanne Benson and Barbara Woody, of Ellijay, are heading a committee and are in the planning stages of what has turned out to be a wonderful holiday celebration.

Beginning on November 4, the Overland Trails Model, located north of

Ellijay just off of 515, will be decorated and open to the public. Each room will be chosen and decorated by participating local area businesses. We ask that you mark the dates down now and plan to visit this beautiful home that will be turned into a holiday extravaganza. A black tie reception will be held November 11, 2006, tickets will be $250.00 per couple or you may choose one of many "Levels of Giving." There is no fee for touring the home, but donations will be accepted to benefit Georgia Mountains Hospice patients being cared for in your communities. The house will remain decorated until January 6, 2007.
