Marine Corps League Golf Tournament

The Unicoi Detachment #783, Marine Corps League is sponsoring the 10th Annual Marine Corps League Golf Tournament at Chatuge Shores Golf Course in Hayesville NC on October 12, 2006.

The tournament format is a four person select shot and will start at 8:30 a.m. The tournament is limited to 96 golfers24 teams. Entry fee is $50 per person or $200 per team and includes breakfast, lunch, and door prizes.

Prizes will be awarded to the top two positions in the

Championship Flight and the First Flight. There are prizes for hole--in-one on all four par 31s, straightest drive, closest to the pin, and a 20-yard chipping contest.

Proceeds will benefit charities of Towns and Union counties, children, elderly, families in need, and individuals, including veterans, throughout the year.
