Ruth Nolan Lauridsen

Mrs. Ruth Nolan Lauridsen, 89, of McIntosh Rd., Blairsville, Ga., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Lauridsen was born May 5, 1917 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Harvey Harry Nolan and the late Addie Mason Nolan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Roy Lauridsen in 1990; brothers, Ernest, Roy, Chuck and Victor Nolan; also by a sister and brother in law who she was raised by, Myrtle and William Speaker. She was a member of the O.E.S. Mrs. Lauridsen was a member of the House Of Prayer Church.

Surviving Mrs. Lauridsen is her daughter, Joyce Mackel of Blairsville; sisters, Janet Meshew of Key West, Fla., Louise Berger of KS., two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many

other relatives and friends

also survive.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 28,

2006 at 7 p.m. from the

funeral home chapel with

the Rev. Bill Honaker officiating.

Interment and

graveside services followed on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. from the Lake Wales Cemetery in Lake Wales, Fla. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to United Hospice in Mrs. Lauridsen's memory.
