Dorris George Colbert

Mr. Dorris George Colbert, 76, of Crawford Rd., Blairsville, Ga., died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006 in the St. Josephs Hospital in Atlanta following a brief illness.

Mr. Colbert was born on Oct. 26, 1929 in Fannin County, Ga., the son of the late Dewey Colbert and the late Emer Lee Colbert. Mr. Colbert was of the Baptist faith.

Survivng Mr. Colbert is his loving wife of 54 years, Hazel Jones Colbert; his children, C.A.and Beverly Ingram of Mass., Elouise Weaver of Douglasville, Rev. James and Sharon Ingram of Harim, Jo and Carroll Weaver of Blairsville; sister, Sylma Peevey of Morrow, Ga.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; many

other relatives and friends

also survive.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug.

28, 2006 at 2 p.m. from

the funeral home chapel

with the Rev. James

Ingram and Rev. Bill Dyer

officiating. The grandsons

and great grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery.
