YHC begins academic year with record freshman enrollment

Clint Hobbs, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Young Harris College, recently announced that Young Harris College expects to enroll over 400 freshmen students for the 2006 fall semester. The majority of the freshmen planning to attend Young Harris College are first time, full time freshmen.

The composite freshman student at Young Harris College

has an average SAT score of 1036 and a high school average of 3.28. This year 95% of the students enrolled at Young Harris College will receive financial aid from Young Harris College in addition to scholarships and aid received from other sources. Young Harris College anticipates awarding an average of $7,230 per student in institutional funds to these students.
