Mountain Synagogue services

Mountain Synagogue will hold Shabbat Morning Services on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in the Social Hall at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church on Roller Mill Road in Franklin, NC.

All Saints Lutheran Church to add early service

Due to increased attendance over the summer months and limited parking facilities, All Saints Lutheran Church will be having two Sunday morning services beginning July 30, 2006, through September 3, 2006. The early service will start at 8:00 a.m., Sunday School at 9:15, followed by the late service at 10:30 a.m.

All Saints Lutheran Church is located 4 miles east of Blairsville on Highway 76/515. For further information call the church office at 745-7777.

Blairsville Women's Spiritual Conference

Seventh annual Blairsville Women's Spiritual Conference is planned for September 30 at the First Baptist Church of Blairsville from 9:30-1: p.m.

Church of the Nazarene Revival

Blairsville Church of the Nazarene internationally known Rev. Russell Coffey will be the speaker at the Church of the Nazarene's fall revival, in Blairsville, August 30 through September 3. Rev. Coffey has been in full time evangelism for 38 years and has preached all over the world.

He is President and Executive director of Anchor Pointe Foundation which works with persons caught up in substance abuse. He and his wife live in Cleveland, Tennessee. Services will start each week day evening at 7:00 p.m. Services on Sunday are at 10:50 a.m. and at 6:00 p.m. The Sunday morning service will be followed by a pot luck dinner to which all are invited to attend.

Fourth Annual Country Fare

Looking Up Gospel Trio

Looking Up, a Southern Gospel Trio from Blairsville, Georgia will be singing at New Mount Gilead Baptist Church in the Cutcane area of Fannin County on Saturday night, August 26 at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to come worship with us as we worship the Lord in Song.

Looking Up will also sing at the Labor Day B-B-Q in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia at 12:45 p.m. on Labor Day, September 4, 2006 along with several other groups. Come on out and join us for food and fun at the Labor Day B-B-Q!
