Realtors Reception held at The Ridges

In July an interesting concept emerged when The Ridges Resort and Club hosted two "Realtor Receptions", one at its new and elegant County Club in Hayesville, and one at its Grand Lodge in Hiawassee. Both featured food and fun and a tour of thenew digs. And the realtors do know how to mingle and have a good time! A large turnout of real estate professionals from as far as Blue Ridge and Elijay made their way to the parties. There had been a lot of talk around town about the opening of the Country Club and the renovation of the old Fieldstone Resort. The changes that were noted were all very positive and exciting; new updated rooms, great food and an attentive staff. Catering Sales Manager, Mindy Scherer said, "We want the Realtors to know that we value their contribution to our community and they play an important part in our success as a premier destination. They are the largest business group in this area and we know that they "rock our world" so to speak. It is our way of saying "Thank You" to them for all they do." The thanks were handed out in the form of Imported Cheeses at the Country Club, and assorted tasty Hors d' oeuvres with Cheesecake Lollipops at the Lodge. A number of realtors were heard saying that they were hoping that this might turn into a monthly mixer for the Real Estate community. Kudos to the Ridges for recognizing the hard work of out partners in Real Estate!
