To the Editor:

The members of the High Country Artisans, Inc. wish to thank the UNION SENTINEL for your great coverage of our 8th Annual Butternut Creek Festival. The weekend of July 22 and 23 was a bustle of activity and YOU were there! The article and photos of one of our exhibitors and one of our vendors, less than a week after the Festival was great! Then an extra treat appeared in the August 3rd edition of your newspaper, as you showcased our chosen entertainment for the weekend. Yes, it was a great weekend.

Thanks also goes to our sponsors: The Appalachian Community Bank, Blairsville/Union County Chamber of Commerce, The Bank of Blairsville, Seasons Bank and United Community Bank. Without their support, we could not have produced the kind of Festival that our community enjoyed that weekend. Our members, though small in number, are committed to provide a quality Festival with varied entertainment for the whole family, at no charge.
