Charles Everett

Mr. Charles Everett, 70, of Blairsville, Ga., died Monday, August 7, 2006, at his residence.

Mr. Everett was born Monday, September 9, 1935, in Union County, Ga., to the late Fulmer Everett and Bonnie Queen Everett. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was preceded in death by sisters, Edna and Ethel; and brothers, Frank, Knox, Butler, Claude and Richard.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Everett of Blairsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Sid Dyer, also of Blairsville, Sharon and Dean Stanley of Blairsville; brother, Cecil Everett of Fort Payne, Ala.; grandsons, Curtis Dyer and Nathan Stanley; several nieces and nephews and many friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville with Rev. Bob Bone and Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Music was provided by The Kelley Trio. Interment followed in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fulmer Lance, Edward Sexton, Harold Wimpey, Danny Everett, Dean Everett and Bobby Joe Queen.
