Clara Lillian Hanson

Mrs. Clara Lillian Hanson, 78, of Patrice Drive, Blairsville, Ga., died Monday, July 31, 2006 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Hanson was born Aug. 12, 1927 in Italy, the daughter, and one of 17 children, of the late Gottfried Faltner and the late Maria Wiest Faltner. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hanson in 1970. Mrs. Hanson was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving Mrs. Hanson is Judy Hoyer of Blairsville; four grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren;

many other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at 3 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Johnson

officiating. Mrs. Hanson's
