Mountain Learning and Child Care Center held our 6th Annual 4th July parade on July 3, 2006. We were very proud to have John Preston and Grady Garner as our Grand Marshals. Mr. John is a member of the Executive Board of the Northeast Georgia Council of Boy Scouts of America and Mr. Grady is the Sr. Patrol Leader for Boy Scout Troop 101. These gentlemen presented the flag and led the children and adults in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the singing of our National Anthem. The parade consisted of babies in strollers, children in wagons, children on tricycles and children and staff dressed in patriotic colors carrying banners and decorations. We would like to say "thanks" to everone who helped make this parade possible and to the parents, relatives and friends who came to watch. Special thanks go to St. Clare's Episcopal Church for allowing us to use their parking lot for our parade.
