Mrs.Priscilla May Brown

Mrs. Priscilla May Brown of Stonehenge Murphy Hwy., Blairsville, formerly of Clearwater, Fla., died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 29, 1911 in Gloucester, Mass., the daughter of the late Harold Orne and the late Catherine MacCloud Orne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph K. Brown; sisters, Shirley Jackson and Audrey Young; and brother, Harold Orne Jr. Mrs. Brown was of the Episcopal faith.

Surviving Mrs. Brown is her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Ann Thompson of Hiawassee; two grandchildren, Laura Osborne of Terrell, N.C., David Thompson of Manderville, La.; four great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to your favorite Humane Society of your choice in Mrs. Brown's memory.
